Shipping
Orders are shipped to you, our customer, shortly after your order is placed and your payment has cleared. We will ship via USPS or UPS, depending on the order size.
Returns
If you need to return an item, please contact us. Returns are handled in one of these three circumstances:
1. Consumer received product and finds that it is damaged, defective, wrong item shipped, or shipping not done as requested.
- Consumer notifies BoatSafetyProducts.com within 14 days of receiving item.
- BoatSafetyProducts.com approves the need or a return and/or replacement.
- Consumer receives call tag (UPS or other carrier) to return the item.
- Item is returned to warehouse for inspection.
- BoatSafetyProducts.com ships correct item back to consumer.
2. Consumer receives the product and decides he/she does not want the item.
No merchandise may be returned to us without prior written authorization. Special orders, materials made to order, cut to length, etc., cannot be cancelled and are not returnable. New and resalable merchandise without price marking and in its original packing, may be returned within 14 days of purchase.
Merchandise returned up to 7 days of purchase will not incur a restock fee.
Merchandise returned after 7 days of purchase is subject to a 20% restocking fee.
No merchandise may be returned after 14 days.
Follow the procedure for Step 1 for returns.
3. Consumer receives product and either installs it incorrectly or it is misused
If consumer returns product and manufacturer determines the item was improperly installed or misused, no refund or replacement item will be issued. Credit will not be issued to the consumer. The merchandise can be returned to the consumer, if the consumer pays shipping to return the item.
